On Friday July 19th we were treated to a real privilege here at Intertech, as we were visited by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and Colorado Senator Michael Bennet. Colorado was the first stop on the Secretary’s new “Listening Tour,” and it was really special to be one of two companies in Colorado to be visited. For more information about the Listening Tour, you can read the press release on the Commerce web site, here.
We were delighted to be included in the Summer edition Plastics Business, and the opportunity to tell our story to their audience. Doing what we can to revitalize manufacturing in the U.S. is an endeavor that can seem as challenging as it is rewarding at times, and it’s wonderful to receive such positive recognition for our effort. It validates that what we’re doing is real, it reinforces that we’re doing the right things, and it motivates us to continue.
And even better than just being in the magazine, was the surprise today that we made the cover.

It’s always a treat to show off your plant to people from outside the industry, and we did our best to reveal everything Intertech is doing to foster growth in manufacturing and deliver turn-key solutions to our customers. For example we showed how we’re supporting programs with graphic design, packaging, and pad printing solutions, adding additional value to the molded parts we produce.
The tour ended with some brief closing remarks from our CEO/Chairman Noel Ginsburg, followed by Senator Bennet, and then Secretary Pritzker. The message given was welcome, as both the Senator and Secretary reiterated our Government’s commitment towards investing in education for new workers in the manufacturing sector, and their continued commitment towards supporting companies’ growth. It’s great to be a part of history.
