INTERTECH ENHANCES MEDICAL DIVISION WITH NEW HIRE

Intertech Plastics, Inc. (“Intertech”), a custom molding company specializing in highly engineered, tight tolerance injection molding, bolstered its robust medical division with the hiring of Brandon Lloyd as business development manager.

In his role as business development manager, Lloyd will leverage his experience and knowledge to expand Intertech’s market position in the medical industry by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing new business relationships.

Prior to joining Intertech, Lloyd was a spine medical device sales representative for Zimmer Biomet Spine where he secured $1 million in sales revenue. He achieved this through strong communication skills, maintaining expert knowledge of products, providing technical support and consistently being available to address customer questions or concerns. A team player by nature, Lloyd didn’t hesitate to assist with administrative tasks such as completing sales forms, inputting and transmitting orders and assisting with ordering and maintaining inventory. His experience also includes serving as a client relationship manager at Re-Steel Supply Company where he identified commercial opportunities and developed them into revenue-generating accounts.

After attending the University of Illinois for four years, Lloyd was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2003 NFL Draft. He spent 11 years playing in the NFL, after which he began a professional sales career.

“Brandon brings a unique set of skills and experiences to our team, which will not only benefit Intertech, but our current and potential customers, partners and community,” said Jim Kepler, president of Intertech Plastics. “As we continue to manage through these unprecedented times, unsure of what the future holds, Intertech is well positioned thanks to our technology, team and values. We are happy to now have Brandon be a part of our team and look forward to what we can accomplish together.”
